1) Pray for wisdom, courage, and perseverance for the leadership of SDSCO.
2) Pray for continued financial assistance so that we can effectively lobby the legislature.
3) Pray that we will find a suitable house to rent in Pierre during the legislative session.
4) Pray for all our supporters as they contact their legislators and government officials. May they have the right words at the right time.
5) Pray that the hearts & minds of our legislators, governor, Health Department, Board of Nursing and Medical Board will change and favorable legislation will be passed this year.
6) Pray for midwifery advocates in other states as they continue their efforts to provide skilled midwives to assist home birth families.
7) Pray for those families who are expecting a baby that God will guide them as they plan their births.
8) PRAISE! For Tammi Chaney, Mary Rybak, Mary Mairose and all those who helped make the Birth Conference a huge success.
9) PRAISE! For the Watertown area families for their generous financial contributions and work on the monthly mailings!
10) PRAISE! For Dr. Heather Margaret and her family who have circled the state more than once this year educating consumers and legislators!
11) PRAISE! For the courageous midwives quietly working behind the scenes risking their freedom and finances to serve South Dakota families!
