January ?
House Health & Human Services Committee Hearing
• Need people to attend hearing & some to testify
• EVERYONE call & email committee members the day before

After we pass committee, EVERYONE will need to contact (calls & short emails) their Representatives before the House votes on our bill.

After the House passes our bill, it goes to the Senate Health & Human Services Committee Hearing
• Need people to attend hearing & some to testify
• EVERYONE call & email committee members the day before

After we pass committee, EVERYONE will need to contact their Senators before the Senate votes on our bill.

After the Senate passes our bill we will need EVERYONE to write or call the governor (who has the power to veto our bill or sign it into law). The Governor has 5 days to sign a bill if the legislature is in session (15 if they are in recess). It takes a 2/3 vote of both houses to override a veto from the Governor.

We all need to thank our sponsors and those who voted for our bill.
