There will be times when we will need lots of short emails and phone messages left for legislators (see timeline on page 2). Most of us know people who would be willing to do this if they were asked. We would
like all of our supporters to find as many people as they can who are willing to do this and get their names and contact info to Mary (see page 7 for contact info). We will then get them on our email list or on
a phone tree by District, so we will be prepared for the legislative session.

If all of our members would send in even ten new names we would be able to blow the legislators away in January when we start flooding them with emails and phone messages. Now is the time to educate candidates. During the legislative session we need to show our legislators the sheer number of South Dakotans who are supportive of midwifery. So please start flooding Mary’s mail boxes with your lists!
